Read moreThe innovative strength of the Vaillant Group has a long tradition that dates back to the company founder, Johann Vaillant. That’s why the new research and development centre is named after him: the Johann Vaillant Technology Center (JVTC). It is where the company develops products and services that help drive forward the energy transition in the buildings sector.
The Vaillant Group is one of the technological pacemakers in the heating technology sector.
With an investment of around 54 million euros, the Vaillant Group has built the most modern research and development centre in the heating technology sector at its headquarters in Remscheid: three buildings, 9,000 square metres of test space, nine laboratory areas.
The complex accommodates all the specialist departments involved in product development, thus enabling effective, cross-divisional cooperation and accelerated innovation cycles. Each development step, from the prototype phase to series production, takes place under one roof.
In the JVTC, the Vaillant Group exposes its products to extreme situations to ensure quality, safety and energy efficiency. All devices undergo over 100 different functional and accelerated life tests.
We’re taking care of a better climate inside our customers’ homes and have also focused on a comprehensive energy concept at the Johann Vaillant Technology Center. The waste heat from the test rigs is used to heat the office buildings and to heat water. This reduces both energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Come with us to the Johann Vaillant Technology Center, the most modern and advanced development centre in the heating technology industry. A virtual tour makes it possible to experience how a heat pump is created at the Vaillant Group.
