As one of the world’s market and technology leaders in the fields of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology, the Vaillant Group is represented in more than 20 countries, and the company distributes its products and services in over 60 countries. The development of new heating technologies is carried out at eight sites, while production takes place at ten locations.
The innovative heart of the company beats in the Johann Vaillant Technology Center at the headquarters of the Vaillant Group in Remscheid. Here, around 800 employees work on innovative heating technologies that reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

Environmental protection is an important aspect in production.
Energy efficiency
Energy efficiency in production and buildings is an essential factor in achieving the climate targets that the Vaillant Group has set itself. Efficiency measures reduce the Vaillant Group’s gas consumption and the associated CO2 emissions.

The Vaillant Group uses electricity from renewable sources at all its sites.
Environmental management
For the Vaillant Group, environmental management certification is a matter of course. In order to conserve resources, the company works with heat recovery and closed-loop water reuse as standard.
Making use of digitalisation

In production, a digitally controlled, multi-layered production management system supports the processes: the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Through the MES, every step in assembly work is predefined. This simplifies processes, provides orientation for employees and minimises errors. Only once the respective assembly step has been carried out flawlessly does the MES allow the product to advance to the next workstation for further assembly. In addition, quality-relevant data and test results can be checked. The MES makes comprehensive management of production processes possible.
