Remscheid, 10 March 2020

  • Modular block seminars for building energy consultants

  • planSOFT software with new functions

  • Constantly updated consulting documents

Vaillant now specifically supports building energy consultants with training courses, comprehensive calculation tools and consulting documents. Building energy consultants can thus recommend measures to their customers that guarantee the highest efficiency and maximum German government grant when renovating an existing building or building a new one.

"We see a steadily growing need for consulting services in the field of energy-efficient renovation of existing buildings,” said Sebastian Albert, Head of Product and Service Management at Vaillant Germany. "Building owners can make massive savings in energy, CO2 and heating costs with precisely tailored measures."

Training by Vaillant

Vaillant will intensively support building energy consultants with a service package that also includes block seminars. These modular training courses focus on different concepts of equipment in new and existing buildings. After its first, completely booked out series of training courses in 2019, Vaillant is relaunching the block seminars for building energy consultants in 2020 as a service for all of Germany.

planSOFT: new functions for energy-efficient renovation

Vaillant also offers building energy consultants new calculation functions that are included in the planSOFT software package. This makes it even easier to evaluate equipment and integrate it into an overall energy concept. With the "EnEV Check" function, for example, different types and variants of heaters can be compared on the basis of a few items of key data and the primary energy factor and the ep value of a building can be determined. This enables the building energy consultant to quickly determine the efficiency of the planned equipment. The "Heat pump design" function allows you to quickly select a heat pump suitable for the building concerned and transfer its data directly into the German energy saving ordinance (EnEV) certificate.

In addition, planSOFT enables a much broader comparison of systems. Different heating systems can be compared while also taking economic aspects of the renovation of the building’s envelope or windows into account. This makes it possible to calculate and compare the CO2 advantage of different overall packages of renovation measures. The customer can also be shown all financial aspects of the energy-efficient renovation. This includes investment costs, current interest rates and possible government grants. "The planSOFT software offers building energy consultants the option of advising their customers on all aspects of an energy-efficient building refurbishment," said Albert.

Always up to date

Building energy consultants can call up the planSOFT software and other services via Vaillant’s “FachpartnerNET”. Furthermore, building energy consultants can register there for the new series of training courses and can order a comprehensive folder, which is always up-to-date, with a variety of consulting documents.
