Vaillant China is installing modern heating technology in 30 schools across China.
To mark Vaillant´s 30th anniversary in China, Vaillant China has launched the “Warm Classroom” initiative. The project supports schools in less privileged areas by providing them with heating and hot water systems.
The Heihumiao Primary School in Henan was the first to benefit. The school is located in a remote mountainous region in central northern China with limited infrastructure. Up to now, supplying heat and hot water in winter has been a major challenge here.
In future, an efficient heating solution from Vaillant will ensure that pupils and teachers can feel more comfortable and that better learning conditions are guaranteed. Headmaster Yugun Zhang emphasized the importance of the donation:

At a kick-off event in Henan, the children experienced exciting moments: science experiments, creative art projects, and sports generated enthusiasm. Vaillant employees and a professional basketball player made the day a special experience for the children.
Since the start, Vaillant has already supported 15 schools: in Henan, Yunnan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Shandong, and most recently two schools in Hunan.
The project has also supported the SOS Children's Village in Yantai in eastern China, in Shandong Province. Vaillant China is thus continuing the Vaillant Group's long-standing partnership with SOS Children's Villages worldwide.
The initiative is part of the Vaillant Group's global sustainability strategy SEEDS, which combines environmental responsibility, social projects, and sustainable product solutions.
