  • Floor-standing non-condensing units can be easily replaced

  • Quick to adapt thanks to insulated flexible corrugated pipes for gas connection

With the new ecoVIT gas-fired condensing boiler, Vaillant is offering a high-quality, low-cost product for retrofitting floor-standing non-condensing units. “Against the background of the Ecodesign Directive, we want to offer our customers an energy-saving solution that makes replacement quick and easy,” says Christian Sieg, Head of Product and Service Management at Vaillant Germany. Accordingly, new connection accessories have also been developed. “This ensures that retrofitting existing systems and carrying out the necessary hydraulic modifications is quick and easy,” adds Sieg. At the same time, the ecoVIT, which has a particularly high water capacity of its own, can easily be combined with hydraulically challenging older systems. The new connection for gas, flow and return comprises three insulated flexible corrugated pipes that can be adapted to fit the existing connections from non-condensing systems.

The well-known stainless-steel bare-tube heat exchanger concept and the tried-and-tested condensing technology have been derived from the ecoVIT exclusive product range. The new ecoVIT is available in four output classes ranging from 5.4 to 48 kW and can be cascaded to achieve a total output of 144 kW. It can be combined both with a solar hot water supply as well as heating backup.
