Reliable heating technology for SOS Children's Village Kraljevo
For many years, reliable heating was far from guaranteed for the children, families and staff at SOS Children's Village Kraljevo. High energy costs and an outdated, inefficient heating infrastructure posed ongoing challenges for the village.

Reliable warmth for 18 houses thanks to modern heating technology
Thanks to a heating technology donation from Vaillant Serbia, a system featuring 480 kW gas condensing boilers now provides reliable heating for all family homes and additional buildings across the SOS Children's Village.
The new system has significantly reduced both energy consumption and operating costs. As a result, more resources can now be directed to where they have the greatest impact: supporting the children and families living in the village.

SOS Children's Village Kraljevo: A safe home for children and young people

SOS Children's Village Kraljevo provides a loving home for children without parental care or who can no longer live with their families
In SOS families, up to six children live together with a dedicated caregiver, allowing siblings to grow up side by side in a stable and supportive family environment.
Today, 18 children live in five family homes. In addition, SOS Children's Village Kraljevo operates a ‘Family Strengthening Program’ and a ‘Day Care Center’ for children and young people with behavioural challenges, providing comprehensive support to those who need it most.
Each month, around 170 participants benefit from these programs.
