F.A.Z.-Institut names the Vaillant Group as best SME
Professional and systematic implementation of the communication strategy
Holistic communication management of digital content and channels
The Vaillant Group has been named the best SME in the Integrated Communication Award of F.A.Z.-Institut. The top-notch judging panel of company representatives, academics and specialist journalists based its decision on the highly professional and systematic implementation of the company’s international communication strategy, as well as the introduction of an innovative internal body responsible for the overarching planning of communication activities. “We are delighted with this award. The flood of content and digital channels makes it necessary to devise new communication strategies. That’s why it is so important to integrate all relevant company divisions and international markets,” explained Dr Jens Wichtermann, Director Corporate Communications, Sustainability & Politics, at the awards ceremony.
Internal communication management body
One aspect of the Vaillant Group communication strategy encompasses an internal and interdisciplinary communication management body. The aim is to structure the company’s digital communication activities on a Group-wide basis, harness synergies and create a uniform, binding framework for global communication activities. Head judge, Professor Ansgar Zerfaß, Chair in Strategic Communication at the University of Leipzig, added the following remarks: “Integrated communication has to be redefined in an era of digital transformation. Moving beyond consistent messages and the intelligent use of all media, it is more important than ever to be able to operate with agility, think in terms of projects and achieve corporate goals as a team.”
