Remscheid-based heating technology specialist Vaillant has published an updated version of its “Responsibility as a principle” brochure. The 20-page pamphlet sums up the company’s sustainability philosophy and activities. In the publication, Vaillant communicates verifiable targets that are valid on a Group-wide basis. The targets are in the S.E.E.D.S. strategic sustainability programme’s four fields of focus: environment, development & products, employees and society. The brochure supplements the company’s comprehensive sustainability report and is targeted at readers who have less expertise in sustainable corporate governance.

“The overwhelmingly positive response to the first edition of ‘Responsibility as a principle’ prompted us to make the brochure a regular part of our communications portfolio,” explains Dr Jens Wichtermann, who is in charge of sustainability management at the Vaillant Group. “Customers, business partners and job applicants are increasingly asking about what we’re doing on the subject of sustainability. This format allows us to inform these key stakeholders about the Vaillant Group’s sustainable business philosophy in a targeted and credible manner.”

The brochure has been produced sustainably using every method known in the printing arts. It will be available at all Vaillant customer forums throughout Germany and will be used in the sales process.
