Heating and ventilation specialist Vaillant presented its new flexoTHERM range of heat pumps at ISH 2015 in Frankfurt am Main. The products are part of Vaillant’s new Green iQ concept, which represents efficient, intelligent and sustainable heating technology with exceptional quality standards. The new heat pump range consists of one heat pump that is the same for all energy sources and modules for the different types of heat source – air, water and soil. This makes installation and control identical for all models.

Near-silent operation enables installation in terraced housing

“The heat pumps in the flexoTHERM range are very flexible, near-silent and carry the energy-efficiency label A++,” says Dr Marc Andree Groos, CEO at Vaillant Germany. “The very quiet exterior unit in the new air-water heat pumps can even be installed in terraced housing without any limitations.” In combination with the control unit, flexoTHERM might even carry the energy efficiency label A+++ in future.

The new multiMATIC 700 system control unit is used in all appliances, enabling heat pumps to be operated via smartphone. Both skilled technicians and professional hotline advisers can view all available parameters remotely, which enables quick and reliable troubleshooting and adjustment to the most efficient settings.
