Change in the Vaillant Group’s Management Board

Remscheid, 18. September 2026

The Supervisory Board of Vaillant GmbH has appointed Dr.-Ing. Armin Frommer as Managing Director of the company with effect from 1 October 2026. He will take over the Technology division from Dr.-Ing. Norbert Schiedeck, who has been heading this division on an interim basis since 1 January 2026, in addition to his role as CEO of the Vaillant Group.

Dr.-Ing. Armin Frommer has many years of experience and in-depth specialist knowledge in the fields of product development, project management and product management. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering, he obtained an additional master’s degree in automotive engineering. Dr.-Ing. Armin Frommer received his doctorate in mechanical engineering. He began his professional career in 2008 at the automotive supplier Mahle. There, he took on increasingly international leadership roles, including establishing the global business unit for electric refrigerant compressors and heading international product and development organisations. In 2022, he joined Bosch as Vice President Thermal Systems Engineering & Product Management. In 2023, he returned to Mahle, where he has since been responsible, as Vice President, for global product development of the Powertrain & Charging division.

Also with effect from 1 October 2026, Dr.-Ing. Norbert Schiedeck will take on the management responsibility for the Operations division in addition to his duties as CEO. Klaus König has been responsible for this area within the Management Board to date. As part of the reorganisation of the Management Board’s areas of responsibility, Klaus König has decided to leave the Vaillant Group on 30 September 2026 to pursue new professional opportunities outside the company.

Klaus König has served successfully as a Managing Director for the Vaillant Group since 2022. The Supervisory Board would like to express its sincere thanks to Mr König for his outstanding work and his great personal commitment to the company and wishes him all the best both professionally and personally.
