The human rights policy statement forms part of our sustainability programme S.E.E.D.S. and applies to all employees.
After extensive field and practical tests, sales of aroTHERM plus - the first Vaillant air-to-water heat pump suitable for both new and existing buildings - will begin in April 2020. The monoblock heat pump works with a natural, particularly environmentally friendly refrigerant and can generate feed and hot water temperatures of up to 75 degrees Celsius.
Vaillant is extending its range of controllers. The company is presenting a wireless version of its sensoCOMFORT weather driven system controller, the new sensoHOME room temperature driven controller - in a wired and a wireless version - as well as the VR 92f wireless remote control.
Vaillant presents its InteractiveServiceAssistant (ISA) to its trade partners, which is now available after a comprehensive pilot phase. Like a navigation system, this app guides you through installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair.
Vaillant is presenting an extended version of its planSOFT software with an integrated design tool for Vaillant air conditioning systems. planSOFT is the most frequently used free planning software for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. It combines 15 design modules for different requirements under a common user interface. With its “Quick PV design” Vaillant is offering its trade partners some additional software. It supports the quick and easy designing of photovoltaic systems.
Vaillant is expanding its sales structures to provide improved support for the electrical trade. The focus is on products for electrical heating and water heating, photovoltaic systems to generate your own electricity, battery storage as well as control and communication systems. Customers will be supported by specialised Vaillant sales and system consultants.
Vaillant now specifically supports building energy consultants with training courses, com-prehensive calculation tools and consulting documents. Building energy consultants can thus recommend measures to their customers that guarantee the highest efficiency and maximum German government grant when renovating an existing building or building a new one.
2019
As of 1 November 2019 Stefan Hüttemeister will be the new Marketing Director of the Remscheid-based heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology specialist Vaillant Group. He will be responsible for the central marketing of the company with its eight brands.
The Vaillant GmbH Supervisory Board has appointed Ralph Jakobs as a managing director of the company with effect from 1 November 2019. Ralph Jakobs will be succeeding Dr.-Ing. Norbert Schiedeck as Managing Director Technology.
The Vaillant Group increased its sales by 6 per cent in the 2018 financial year, reaching 2.5 billion euros. This means that the company recorded its highest revenue in history.

Franz Wilhelm, Partner of the Vaillant Group and former long-term Managing Director, passed away on 13 September 2018 at the age of 92. As a passionate entrepreneur, he drove ahead the successful development of the family-owned company with great energy and untiring commitment.

The Vaillant Group had a successful financial year 2017. Both in sales revenues and the operat-ing result (EBIT), the Remscheid-based family-owned company topped the level of the previous year.
The Partners’ Board of Vaillant GmbH has appointed Dr.-Ing. Norbert Schiedeck Chairman of the company’s Management Board with effect from 1 May 2018. Until the position will be filled, Dr.-Ing. Schiedeck also remains in charge of his previous tasks as Managing Director Technology.
Dr Carsten Voigtländer, CEO of the Vaillant Group, will leave the company on 31 March 2018 after almost nine years’ work. Dr.-Ing. Norbert Schiedeck, Managing Director Technology at the Vaillant Group, will take over the portfolio of Dr Voigtländer on an interim basis with effect from 1 April 2018 in addition to his current tasks.
At SHK Essen, three new heat pump models took centre stage at the Vaillant stand. In addition to electricity, Vaillant continues to focus on gas as an energy source.
2017
The Supervisory Board of Vaillant GmbH has appointed Dr Stefan Borchers a Managing Director of the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning specialist with effect from 1 January 2018. He will take over as successor to Dr Dietmar Meister the Group-wide responsibility for the Finance and Services divisions.
The World Climate Conference stops off at the Vaillant Group. Government officials, journalists and non-governmental organisations from three continents stopped by the company headquarters in Remscheid. An excursion programme put together for conference attendees by EnergyAgency.NRW provided an insight into various climate protection solutions, presented in a total of 36 projects across North Rhine-Westphalia.
Dr Jens Wichtermann, Director Corporate Communications, Sustainability & Politics of the Vaillant Group, gave a speech at the World Climate Conference in Bonn about the contribution of the company to achieving the climate goals. In his presentation, he explained both the need for efficient and sustainable heating technology for climate protection and the holistic approach of the company. The Vaillant Group sets standards in corporate responsibility with its new vision "Taking care of a better climate" and the multiple award-winning sustainability program S.E.E.D.S..
The Vaillant Group production site in Gelsenkirchen has been sold to Bleistahl, a medium-sized family-run company from Wetter (Ruhr). The handover will take place in the second quarter of 2018.

The Vaillant Group presented its company figures for 2016 and a forecast for the first quarter of 2017 at its digital annual press conference. Further topics are a double-digit revenue increase in China, strong growth for heat pumps as well as a greater focus on digital products and services.
The Vaillant Group inaugurated in Remscheid a new competence centre for digital 3D printing processes. The digital print process will be employed initially in pre-series production in the building of prototypes. It forms another interface of development activities and production at the Vaillant Group headquarters in Remscheid.
The Vaillant Group is now also producing heat pumps in Remscheid in large numbers.
Green, digital and customer-focused: these are Vaillant’s major points of emphasis at the ISH.
