As a global market and technology leader, heating technology specialist Vaillant is presenting a number of new, energy-saving and environmentally friendly products and comprehensive services at the ISH 2019 industry trade fair in Frankfurt am Main. “Following an excellent business year in 2018, we want to continue growing our company with an expanded heat pump portfolio, a new range of efficient condensing boilers and a number of digital services for installers, the real estate sector and property owners – all the while keeping our customers’ needs in mind,” stresses Dr Andree Groos, Vaillant Group Managing Director for Sales, Marketing and Service at the company press conference held on 12 March 2019 in Frankfurt am Main as part of the ISH. Dr Groos went on to comment that heat pumps and efficient gas-fired heating devices would still constitute the main pillars of the heating market even beyond 2030. Here he made reference to the 2018 industry study conducted by German heat pump association Bundesverband Wärmepumpe e.V. as well as the building sector study conducted by the German Energy Agency (dena). “The strategic orientation of our company has made us part of the solution to achieve the global climate protection goals,” says Dr Groos.

New, efficient generation of gas-fired condensing boilers

With the ecoTEC exclusive, Vaillant is presenting a product from its new generation of gas-fired condensing boilers for the very first time. The IoniDetect combustion control system forms the centrepiece of the next-generation appliances. Integrated ionisation technology helps balance out fluctuations in gas quality and automatically recognises different gas types, guaranteeing an optimal energy yield while ensuring top combustion quality.

Eco-friendly heat pumps for new builds and modernisation projects

The new aroSTOR hot-water heat pump uses a natural, environmentally friendly coolant and provides hot water over 60 °C in temperature in an efficient and eco-friendly way. Vaillant’s new aroTHERM plus monobloc air-water heat pump also uses the natural coolant R290, enabling flow temperatures as well as hot-water temperatures of up to 75 °C. Thanks to its high flow temperatures, the new aroTHERM plus is also a great choice for modernisation projects. Both heat pumps are particularly efficient and quiet when in operation.

Digital services for installers and real estate sector

With ISA (InteractiveServiceAssistant), Vaillant will be able to help navigate its installers in future when it comes to servicing, repairing and installing heating devices. The specially developed app gives users clear step-by-step instructions via their tablet, smartphone or data glasses. The ISA app is easy and intuitive to use.

With its new range of services for realising landlord-to-tenant electricity projects, Vaillant has teamed together with prosumergy to offer the housing industry an economic solution like no other. The concept allows apartment building owners and their tenants to benefit from the advantages offered by a photovoltaic system installed on the building. Home builders and apartment building owners can generate new revenue with the landlord-to-tenant electricity model. As electricity prices are kept low, the model also appeals to tenants. Together with cooperation partner Greenergetic, Vaillant is also offering its installers a new full service to help plan, install and commission photovoltaic and battery storage systems.

Another of the many innovations revealed by Vaillant at the ISH is a new generation of control units for eBUS systems. These units ensure top comfort and maximum energy efficiency when operating Vaillant heaters. Furthermore, the company is presenting its new split air conditioners: the climaVAIR exclusive series offers a highly efficient technology for cooling and heating individual rooms or entire buildings. A new range of instantaneous electric water heaters ensures a first-rate hot-water supply. The top-of-the-range models electronicVED exclusive and electronicVED plus have been fitted with a new display that is even easier to read, not to mention the built-in energyMONITOR. This Vaillant innovation makes it possible to show electricity and water consumption on the display or, in the case of the electronicVED exclusive, the remote control provided.

Vaillant is presenting all of the new products and services at the ISH in Frankfurt am Main from 11 to 15 March 2019. You can find us at booth E 81 in hall 12.1.
