New air-conditioning units for greater efficiency and comfort
- Highly efficient cooling and heating technology
- Mono-split and multi-split units for different room and building sizes
- Wide range of intelligent functions
Frankfurt am Main / Remscheid, 12 March 2019 – Vaillant presents its new split air conditioners for the first time at the ISH 2019 in Frankfurt am Main. With the climaVAIR exclusive series, the company has created a highly efficient technology capable of cooling and heating individual rooms or entire buildings. This is thanks to the extensive range of products that comprises both mono-split and multi-split units with a broad output spectrum. The efficiency of the air-conditioning devices has been verified and categorised up to the highest rating of A+++ in line with the Ecodesign Directive and the Energy Labelling Directive.
Intelligent functions offer the user all kinds of operating options. Timer functions, for instance, strike an ideal balance between energy efficiency and maximum convenience. In sleep mode, the fan rotation speed is reduced for an especially quiet operation and the temperature is automatically adjusted at regular intervals. The desired temperature is achieved to the degree at all times thanks to a thermostat located not on the inside unit but in the infrared remote control. By actively ionising the air with negatively charged ions, the climaVAIR devices create an especially refreshing air quality.
The mono-split units are available in cooling capacities graded from 2.5 up to 3.5, 5 and 6.5 kW. The multi-split units are available as 2.5 and 3.5 kW models. They therefore cover a broad spectrum of usage scenarios, from individual rooms to single-family homes as well as small office and commercial buildings.
“The new range of air conditioners is tailored entirely to the needs of our installers in terms of planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance,” says Sebastian Albert, Head of Product and Service Management at Vaillant Germany. “We also offer our installers a commissioning service if they do not hold the required certificate of proficiency for handling coolants.”
Vaillant offers its customers worldwide eco-friendly, energy-saving heating and ventilation systems that make increasing use of renewable energies. Its product portfolio encompasses solar-thermal and photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, ventilation systems for low-energy buildings, split air-conditioning units, high-efficiency heating systems using fossil fuels, and intelligent controls.
