Stronger strategic focus on renewable energies and heat pump technologies

The 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris provides a new and ambitious basis for global endeavours to protect the world’s climate. The aim is to decarbonise the energy supply almost completely by 2050. The convention gives each country a clear mandate to implement this target in full through its national climate protection plans and activities. Set against this background, the Vaillant Group is focusing its strategic orientation more closely than ever on technologies based on renewable resources as energy media.

Green and digital innovations at Vaillant

Green, digital and customer-focused: these are Vaillant’s major points of emphasis at the ISH.

The heating system moves into the smartphone

More and more devices are intelligently interconnected and digitally controllable. In this way, the smartphone is becoming the domestic comfort zone. That is why Vaillant attaches special importance to the flexible integration of heating appliances into all kinds of smart-home solutions.

Smart building stock: new digital solutions for upgrading

At the ISH 2017, Vaillant is introducing the ambiSENSE individual room control and the new multiMATIC app. With the ambiSENSE individual room control, the temperature is controlled individually room by room – regardless of whether the user is on the sofa at home or at some distant holiday destination.

Digital toolbox for skilled tradesmen provides an overview

At the ISH 2017, Vaillant is introducing a new user interface in the form of the digital toolbox, with which skilled tradesmen can organise their digital working lives. The morning smartphone check shows which potential customers have to be spoken to or where a quotation has to be prepared.

New on the market: geoTHERM wall-hung heat pump

All the heating requirements of a low-energy or passive house can be met with a low level of heat output. Vaillant now has a new geoTHERM heat pump for this purpose, featuring 3 kW of output.

Decentralised power generation with new photovoltaic system

When it comes to supplying heat and hot water, electric power is the energy medium of the future. Electricity is increasingly produced in a decentralised, eco-friendly manner, involving the use of renewable energies.

New hot-water tanks with Green iQ label

Vaillant is presenting the first hot-water tanks from the sustainable Green iQ line. The two tanks, auroSTOR and uniSTOR exclusive, are going to be awarded the Green iQ label.

The right ventilation system for every building: new decentralised units for modernisation

Vaillant demonstrates new recoVAIR units for decentralised domestic ventilation at the ISH 2017. Only a power connection is required for installation.

One controller for the entire system

Vaillant is presenting a new generation of the system controller multiMATIC 700/5 at the ISH 2017 in Frankfurt am Main. The app-based radio controller eRELAX supports the IFTTT protocol (“if this, then that”). This enables users to control individually programmed scenarios

Planning support – from the initial consultation to the quotation

Vaillant continues to expand its support for the planning of ventilation systems. From now on, skilled tradesmen have the benefit of six further technical consultants who are specially trained in ventilation engineering.

Double savings in the modernisation of heating systems

Operators who need that ultimate incentive to modernise their heating systems needn’t look any further. Vaillant has launched a promotional campaign entitled Modernisation PLUS, subsidising the replacement of old non-condensing units and also coal-based and night storage heaters.
