Jury impressed by highly modern look of www.vaillant-group.com
Jury highlights website’s maximum flexibility and usability
Optimum line breaks for all devices – desktop computers, tablets, smart phones
The Vaillant Group’s new corporate website has reaped another award: the www.vaillant-group.com portal clinched the German Design Award in Frankfurt. The new website impressed the jury with its interesting stories, its responsive design for straightforward presentation of the content on all mobile devices and its highly modern web page look. This is the second design award to have been won by the Vaillant Group’s website in five months – the company was presented with the renowned Econ Award for its website at the end of October 2015.
Maximum flexibility and usability
The jury presented the website with the award on the basis of its highly modern design, usability and an optimised display of content. “The Vaillant Group’s new corporate website serves as a central platform for professional communication. With its responsive design, the website works on all the usual devices such as tablets, smart phones and desktop computers, and is compatible both with the iOS and the Android system,” according to the panel of experts. According to the jury, the content had been prepared well. “We want the website to get people excited – about a family-run company that credibly reconciles the traditional with the modern. We present our topics, values and technologies by means of emotive stories and reports, and factual information,” says Frederik Lippert, Senior Manager Corporate Communications. The website development work focused in particular on responsive web design that fits all popular devices. A flexible grid system results in optimum content line breaks on all the various devices, be it a desktop computer, tablet or smartphone.
